Colby Hill Inn

Colby Hill Inn is a little slice of heaven! (No…REALLY!) The food is incredible, the service is outstanding, and the rooms/property are comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a recharge from the hustle and bustle of daily life. CHI is a place where you can go to step back, relax, breathe, and just be. From mid week dinners to their spectacular specials and celebrations, this place is pure magic!

Colby Inn was a delightful dining experience, a creative menu, cozy ambiance & delicious cocktails. From start to finish we were more than satisfied. The grazing menu guarantees a pleasure to the palate. Emily was pleasant, proficient & professional. This little gem in Henniker, NH is worth a dining visit.

What an amazing place Colby is! I was floored at the hospitality of each employee there. What a wonderful group going above and beyond without even trying their gentle attention to their guests without being overbearing. The Colby was clean and attentive and attention to every detail that made our stay feel welcoming and comfortable. The food was amazing as well as the kitchen staff even coming out to make sure the fire was always burning for us especially Chris. Jonus was top notch with personality and knowledge. Jeff was unbelievably in tune and made our stay so memorable and wonderful. His skills are above average!!! Emily was smiling which lit up the room. She was amazing and did her job fantastically above and beyond. This place is run perfectly! I couldn’t ask for anything better than the Colby! Simply amazing!!

The Colby Hill Inn is a hidden gem. My daughter was married there in September. In addition to having the wedding inside their rustic & picturesque barn, we also had an absolutely gorgeous "Into the Woods" themed rehearsal dinner outdoors the night before. When I saw the tables outside, they were so beautifully decorated that I think I may have cried. Also, a large number of our out-of-state guests stayed at the inn for the weekend and were blown away by the quaint setting, phenomenal food, and amazing staff. Jeff and Emily (in particular) went above and beyond in EVERY aspect of the experience- from helping us stay within our budget, to organizing the entire weekend and printing up beautiful place settings and menus, to accommodating additional last minute guests, and gracefully handling changes, special requests, & unexpected surprises. Many of our guests have commented that it was the "best wedding they had ever been to, " and that the food was consistently amazing! I have to whole heartedly agree. Thank you to Jeff and to everyone at Colby Hill for giving my daughter her dream wedding.

Stay here about 3 times a year and love the charming rooms and country inn vibes. The best thing about staying here is that their food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is innovation and absolutely delicious and the service is always first class. Jeff and his team always make you feel home at the Colby Hill Inn.

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay overnight on a road trip. Colby Hill was an excellent discovery. This old building has been wonderfully restored as an inn and restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent - breakfast is included if you stay overnight. Bonus - there are goats you can feed and grounds to explore. If you like old inns, you will enjoy the experience. We will return,

We stopped for one night on our way back to Boston. We were very impressed with Jeff, the Innkeeper and the Inn itself. So much character to the place. Very cozy. And, the breakfast was amazing. Presentation was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed another night to enjoy their dinner. Thank you Jeff for a very enjoyable stay.

We had a great experience during our one night stay. The Inn was beautiful and the employees we met were super friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and being able to have a real fireplace in our room was unforgettable. In the morning, we had a superb breakfast that we can't say enough good things about! We will definitely go back!
